Shows, Articles, Wholesale and Mooooore...

Where do I even start? There has been so much plush-ing going on that I may be a touch behind. Sooo, here is a post designed to bring you up to date (hold on, it will be a long one)...

NOW:
Clutter Magazine Issue 15!

I am extremely honored to have been interviewed for this magazine! I definitely feel like it is a milestone in my career as the plushinator. I got a peek at the 4 page spread about a month ago and I cant wait to see it in person. haha reading this, you may or may not learn that I am nuts. More info about the release is now on their site:

Not only is Clutter a great art & designer toy publication,

t
hey are
amazing people to boot! Help support this awesome magazine by purchasing the new issue: http://www.cluttermagazine.com/shop/magazines/issue-15-gods-and-monsters

NEXT UP:

Imaginary Menagerie @OhNo!Doom, Chicago: July 9th

This is actually what has devoured a lot of my time over the last few months.  July 9th opens the show filled with monstrous new works by myself, Amanda Louise Spayd, Chris Ryniak and Doktor A.

For my collection of pieces I have been inspired by armor and the critters that would (naturally) be wearing it.

Up until the day of the show I will continue to post a "Sneak Peek A Week" on my Flickr:

If you would like to sign up for the preview list (your best chance at your favorite pieces) you can sign up on the OhNo!Doom site

Stitch Wars Strikes Back @ Bear and Bird Gallery (upstairs at Tates Comics) Lauderhill, FL
Opening Night Reception: Friday, August 12, 2011 • 7-10pm

I have something very specific planned and thats all I will say right now ;)
All those in South FL should head out to the opening even if you do not care about Star Wars!

PAST EVENT:
Vinylmation 9" Pirates Inspired Custom Release @Disney CA

A couple months I was asked to participate in this Custom Vinylmation event that took place in tandem with the Pirates or the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides movie release. I was unable to share images until the event was announced. I have not painted in so long and it was a great break from all the plush. This piece also holds the tiniest pirate coat I have ever made...and I hear it sold quite fast.

In Other News:
I have been preparing a wholesale catalog for my small run plush, t-shirts, pins and other goods, preparing files for my new website and entering some older one-of-a-kind pieces into my Etsy shop! Phew...i'm exhausted just thinking about all this.
